Fork it over!
As with all things here at DPA lately, we are thoroughly behind with promoting this Saturday’s gigantic fundraising bonanza at the brand new Art of This Gallery location. For those of you who haven’t heard, AOT has moved to the west side, just barely, into a larger, brighter and less insanely landlorded venue at 3506 Nicollet Ave. S. The AOT members have put in thousands of artist-hours preparing for the nine-hour festival of art, performance, film and rock-n-roll, in the hopes that throngs of art lovers will donate $10 American and then party their rears off at the open bar. Who (besides the bride’s father) doesn’t like an open bar ? Seriously, you should totally be there and drink yourself so silly you finally ‘get’ art. See you there. Julian Schnabel
