ART OF THIS!
Hey has anybody heard about Art of This Gallery in South Minneapolis? No? That’s crazy, really crazy. Well let me tell you all about it. Art of This is a collectively-run art space and design center at 3506 Nicollet Ave. S. that has been operating for over two years now. These three awesome artists named John Marks, joAnn Blohowiak, and Daniel Palahniuk founded the gallery and recently they invited David Petersen to be a new member of the collaboration. Now he is also a part the fun that is presenting art that is experimental, socially-relevant, or just too damned big to sell. Plus there are other Special Events such as movie viewings and workshops. You just have to drop by, especially for the openings. They are awesome and exciting and there is cheap but delicious refreshments, and sometimes famous people. So please come by and check out some art that you just can’t find in too many places around town, made by people from around town. How cool is that!
